Communicating well…

I work in the tech support industry doing mostly ticket and 3rd party support (helping junior support agents with their issues that they are on the call or in chat with the customer).  One thing that I have noticed is that a large number of people do not know how to use or understand proper tense and case in a sentence.  I am always saying ‘noted and opened’ in relation to tickets, and the other person then goes and notes and opens the ticket.  Do they not know what the -ed at the end of the effing word means.  Past tense, finished, done, etc…  Come on.  These are people working in a tech heavy industry.  They should at least be able to understand simple things like that.  Otherwise they are as bad as a lot of the customers that they then deal with.   Let’s get with the program people!

Oh well…
